Step3: Add 1 tablespoon of milk and microwave it for 1 minute, stir it, then cook it for 1 more minute.
Step4: Roll the apples and onions in the caramel, and use a rubber spatula to spread the caramel and cover the entire onion surface. Put them on a buttered baking dish or sheet then let them cool in the refrigerator.
